Eventually Conrad wanders in with a rather tall pale kid in tow. "I have not been up north much. What is it like where you are from?" Conrad asks the kid as he slides into line for food. "Cold. Windy?" Grabbing some food he heads for a table "I guess that makes sense, are there lots of trees or is it more open and grassy?" |

Fletcher looks a bit astounded. He hadn't had a chance to go to market when he was at the port, but Talisport's market was massive! "I don't know how to cook much. My brother is a lot better at that. I would be willing to learn though - did you ever have those mulberry tarts the scholar's made? Delicious." He acknowledges Lan with a brief nod. "I did! They were really good, but my favorite was the apple pie." He nods, finishing up his lunch. "Can you read at all? I don't know what my next class is." |

After a bit Conrad stands and brushes any fragments of food off himself. "Bjork, if you want meet me back here when class is done. We will go find someone to help us learn each other's language. I have some people to find and class is starting soon. Have a good day." With that Conrad gives a short bow and strides off quickly to go try locating a few of his fellow classmates. First stop is the girls dorm.
