Evanus had been laying seize to the city for weeks when he finally flew a hawk above to drop a gauntlet and settle the affair this way. Iterus was accepted the duel, but instead of selecting magic, he selected swords for the weapons." He raises a brow how he was ignored but smiles. Dear Lord Ary was adorable when he got talking about something he likes. "Why did he choose swords?" "Evanus was a master Mage, but had never been trained in tactical combat. Iterus won and Evanus' expansion came to a halting screech of a stop. Empires undone because of foolishness." |

I think most other students will find duels that dealt with magic. And honestly... I find it quite interesting." He smiles and rests his chin on Ary's shoulder. "To know what your enemies weaknesses are is important, yes? He went ahead and put aside the use of magic knowing it'll put his odds in his favor." He thinks a moment. "Like putting aside your pride for the greater good?" |
