"I just feel like I won't be able to much if we aren't in the same classes." He shrugs. "Maybe it's a good thing..." Lan eyes Theros. "So... I'm curious... Who's this sword master guy you get to meet?" He grins as if proud of having no idea. "I don't have a clue yet! Brin just promised a sword tutor for me and everyone if I behaved. I hope it's not someone from the school at Heisis, they might still remember me." He frowns a little, clenching one fist and looking around, remembering how mage school was like a prison despite the apparent wilderness around. "But they might not and they might not be from home anyway! So odds are in my favor!" |

"They did. That's why I'm here, not a handless cripple!" He chuckles, wiggling his fingers, but then frowns seriously again. "How could anyone forgive ruining a kid's life, even if it was an accident? But that's just the thing. It wasn't an accident. It was an on-purpose." He points his finger in the air to indicate that that was an important point. "And I guess I don't really like the story." He wanders a few paces away, swinging his stick. |

He frowns more. "I know little of my homeland... I wasn't allowed to leave my home..." He starts fiddling with his clothes. "There's not much to tell about my family. I have many sisters... The younger ones adore me, the older ones do anything they can to tease me or to make me feel less important." He glances away. "I don't have happy memories to share." |
