The pungent smell of fish and trash fills the air in this area. Burly dock workers and unkempt sailors mill about unloading shipments and loading merchandise produced by the mages at the tower. The occasional traveler can be spotted moving about in the crowd.

Conrad enters the scene looking to make contacts and maybe a bit of coin too. He sets off looking for the Forman of the dock hands to bother him about a job.

You manage to located the forman, an older gentleman with a gruff voice that sounds like he's smoked more than his fare share of tobacco. He shouts orders to the dockworkers and docks them pay each time they stumble or waver.

"Can't believe they let the imperials have a woman cap'n, tis bad luck!" is the general talk of the tavern. There are also some rumors of a Heissian swordsman moving faster than the eye can see, a strange orange eyed guard of the Rellarian house, and rumors of the war going poorly against talisport.
