Conrad manages to not jump when Yarrow makes noise but also fails to notice what just happened to Lan. (Which is not a huge surprise.)

The entire hallway around the office is a smoldering ruins and poisson's office is really nothing more than a gap in the wall. There is a strong smell of sulfer about and the remains of poisson are scattered down the hall. Bran is lying at one end of the hall looking thoroughly beat up and is being questioned by xanthe

After shoving his way through crowds of people and running around looking like a mad man, Lan makes his way to the hall. He only pauses when he sees Bran. "Bran...!" He runs over, ignoring Xanthe as he drops down to see if Bran was alright.

We need to get him to the infirmary!" Lan growls, completely offended that he would even dare to push him back like that. |
