Tomorrow the city of Isthon will be in an uproar over the death of Archon Adgurus Sallis Varcillos. It will be a great tragedy for most, the new up and coming mage from the college of Ylara found dead in the bay. But there are some that will know it was justice done. The sun is setting a deep red as five nightblades each gradually fill the small room of their safehouse. Each having taken their own way back from the scene of the kill to avoid suspicion. Despite the size of the room it is quite well furnished, with a large round table, a pair of plush leather chairs situated to look out the one window of the room, and even a cabinet filled with several different kinds of wine and liquor. Five beds occupy the room beneath this one, each with its own chest where the nightblades may keep their personal effects, and a week’s worth of supplies. The young Archon won’t be missed until tomorrow morning, so there is a little time to relax and celebrate a job well done before leaving town.
(We can start here once everyone has posted their character sheets)

Laskaris walks in and goes to take a seat at the table, kicking off his books with a grunt. He leans back, grumbling to himself as he scratches at his gruff. He throws back his hood and tries to relax but can still feel his blood pumping wildly throughout his veins. He bitterly waits for the others to show up. (Just a little thing to note if any of you are wanting to make jokes, Laskaris is blind in one eye. Has two lovely scars down his left. Don't know if I mentioned it)

Galyn struts in and finds a seat next to Laskaris. "Stressed old friend? I hear that stress is bad on the body. Perhaps you should do some breathing exercises while we wait." She chuckles to herself.

"I just need a drink." He grumbles, eyeing her a bit. "And I breathe just fine and it doesn't help my stress."

He takes a quick survey of the room, scouring the area for something, ANYTHING amiss. Old habits die hard. Finally, he sighs and goes to stand behind one of the chairs, not bothering to look at Laskaris directly. After a long pause, he speaks in his rough and rather damaged voice.
"Thought I had the most direct route here. You never fail to surprise me. You have a crystal ball in that fucked up socket?"

When aren't you drunk? In seriousness, however, did all go smoothly? I lost contact with you all near the end."

(Shall I roll Notice?)
