Kai tries to yank his face away from the fire and away from Deon, preparing to hit him again. Athletics 5 Kai has some lovely painful blisters popping up on his face now, and his eyebrow has probably been seared straight off. ( Permanent Aspect: Branded a Liar)
Deon is scrambling to his feet, clutching the side where he was just hit with his sore arm when Kai turns around and drives the poker against the sore spot. The lord cries out in pain stumbling back to one knee as Kai smacks against the sore shoulder, dagger still sticking out by it's hilt. Kai tosses the poker away from both of them, and lunges at the man, grabbing for the dagger. Athletics 3 Hand to hand 0 |

You slip outside - it is the first floor so not much scaling is required. You find the room illuminated by firelight, and arrive to see Kai's face being added to the fire logs and his whacking the attacker with a fire poker. |

Kai is tossed to the ground but holds the dagger. Deon is bleeding profusely and breathing hard. |

Lask finishes his copying and decides to look for the freaking novice that he had expected a long time ago who was supposed to seek out info. The chatter box should've been able to get some! Hopefully... Insert major eye roll. Lask leaves out the window he broke and scales down. He crab walks along the wall.

He curses at the scene and quickly moves something heavy in front of the door so no one would walk in. "What the hell is going on?" He hisses, going to pull Gayln off the man and replaces her with him. Putting the man into a head lock to knock him out before making any further moves. Hand to hand: 7 |
