Theros gives Bran a funny look which devolves into an angry and pained expression, frown, nostril flare, lips pulled to the side. "Bran. Stop lying. I can tell you're lying." He holds out the now healed cut on his hand from the blood oath from a while ago. "Aren't we friends? Didn't we go on adventures together?"

He frowns, looking pained as well as he glances at his own hand. "Sharkbait...there's points in life when you realize you've crossed a bridge. I lost my family a long time ago. All I have left is my name and what little of a legacy remains. I swore I would do whatever was necessary for it. And I wish I could be true to you, but my life is on the line and you cannot ask more of me. It's not a fair predicament...but life is rarely fair. Please forgive me." |
