Lan holds her tightly, trying not to break out into tears again. "We... We should probably go prepare for the party..." He says after choking back the sob that wanted to escape. She tenses for a moment then takes a deep breath and says "its alright if you cry..."[ "I'm done crying..." Lan mutters and pulls away. "I'll come get you before the party. We can go together."

The manor is everything one would expect and more. The outside has been made appropriate for the occasion with festive lighting in Imperial style, and the shrubbery seems groomed for such an occasion. Additional servants have been hired on to help welcome guests, serve drinks, food, and otherwise cater to whatever ridiculous whim of the guests. They are dressed finer than most of the students at the school could even dare on a good day. Inside is equally as immaculate. White glove inspection. Check. Delicious hors d'oeuvre. Check. Beautiful music. Check. For those who know him, they probably could imagine little Aryteneus going about all day to supervise and inspect every detail to ensure it was to his liking.
Perhaps more surprising would be that the decorations are not so wholly garish as to be unbearable. More or less everything is crisp and elegant, and in such a fashion that one can neither describe it as pretentious or lackluster. It took a great deal of planning to maintain an air that this sort of decorating comes naturally and without effort on part of the host. There is a large staircase that greets guests as they walk in, the marble polished and smooth, and reflecting the color of the guests' clothing as they walk in. There is an announcer as guests veer to the right to the main ballroom who seems to pronounce every ridiculous Imperial name as though he has only ever studied names and their proper pronunciation. He lives and breathes each proper roll of the 'r' or tap of the 'l'. The chandelier over the floor is well lit, well dusted, and well suited for such an occasion. The musicians currently consist of a smaller group that is loud enough to be heard without being a hindrance on conversation (which seems to abound).

Leah will arrive being escorted by the Rellarian prince, and an unnerving orange eyed fellow.

Rufius and Dierus arrive together, perhaps with any other imperial boys sixteen or older.
Adria arrives after them, fashionably late with an entourage of imperial girls. I don't know when Eleni would show up, but she's welcome to be part of this imperial group.

Leah will arrive being escorted by the Rellarian prince, and an unnerving orange eyed fellow. Much displeasure. Nothing like bringing an assassin to a party. Aryteneus eyes Orange Eyes disdainfully from afar, like a gazelle afraid of being singled out from the herd. He will be all proper though when necessary, although he does not address said escort unless Lan bothers to introduce them formally. (I assume Lan and Leah will pay their respects at some point. Aryteneus will chit chat with Eleni, Dierus, and Adria until interrupted for host duties).

Lan probably voiced to Nanaris how it was unnecessary for him to come along but would back down if he argued how his father demanded it. Your father did not demand but he would insist nonetheless Lan will try and ignore him then. Act as if he's not looming over. Lan walks Leah over to Ary. Bows as he should, say how wonderful the party is, a lot of polite words and small smiles.

Well he will definitely chat Leah up on the way over and they will both seem quite content, once there he wouldn't mingle with you, but he will escort you inside.

"Evening Prince." Aryteneus says brightly, even though he feels a bit bad about Lan and her sister. He bows politely to both of them. "I'm very pleased you could make it as well Leah."

He stays mostly to the outskirts and only talks to servants unless spoken to first.

"It's my pleasure Aryteneus." She curtsies, she's wearing a very modest and a bit old fashioned gown with long sleeves, mostly composed of different shades of blue. She gives him a big warm smile.

He smiles although it's not as genuine as his smile towards Lan. "I like your dress Leah. It's lovely. Have you met -" he will proceed to introduce her to nearby guests as a host should. He takes pains to introduce them both to his cousin.
