He looks a bit stunned, "This one's a bit old I think sir." "I thought that might be best." He covers his mouth as if whispering to the guard, but is deliberately loud enough for Virgil to hear, obnoxiously glancing to see his reaction. "Keeps the priests away if you know what I mean...." "If you say so..."

"You can have him for fifty after we're finished with him." "Oh we can do that at the church and save you the time and money. The priests have to bless them and some other bullshit beforehand. Strange times no?"

Paperwork is always so draining." He sighs. "I could pay you now - perhaps a bit more so you and your, erm...wife? can enjoy the evening? Then you can wrap up paperwork in the morning. By then we'll be out of your hair and these sorry wretches will be repenting for their horrid crimes against doors and scullery maids."

Virgil looks like he is caught between being disappointed he wouldn't get a chance to get himself out of this pickle, or have a good time trying. And amusement at Caerus' act. He also wonders what the difference between himself and Caerus is when it comes to lying. He wouldn't trust this man further than he could throw him.

"Well.." he seems to pause at the wife comment but then remembers what could happen to him if he got caught with something like that, "Slip in an extra fifty and I can probably have him out to you in an hour."

"Seventy-five - next fifteen minutes, intact. Pleasure doing business." He says holding out a hand to shake.

He says with a laugh, offering his hand again. "Consider it done - although I'd prefer they come in one piece at that price."

His expression darkens then in stark contrast to his jovial mannerisms before. "And I'll teach him obedience."
