So - in summary.... Caerus would listen to the housing recommendations offered by the students. He would be mildly annoyed that some have really found nothing and instead spent their time getting into fights with nobles or street thugs.... He would discourage the use of Virgil's old home as a "home" base due to its ties to their past lives, but would definitely think it could be utilized for a safe haven of storing supplies or potentially another front. He would even recommend letting the place out in order to make additional profit. He would also suggest opening a bakery as a cover front on the top side of town (edge of merchant district and poorer end of things). Benefits: - A good innocent cover that let's us meet multiple people and stay close to gossip without drawing attention to ourselves
- An affordable start up cost and cover-story as to why there are multiple children running in and about the location
- Food (so long as Caerus does not cook...)

Rose would be upset not having Virgil's old house as the main base but understands. Probably a bit sore towards Virgil anyway if she found out what he did to a certain someone's door...
She's fine with the idea for a bakery though unsure if they could manage to run one.

A bakery's a good idea! Everyone needs bread! An inn is also good for seeing who travels through! And we might be more able to handle an inn more smoothly.
Virgil had a house here?!? Wow!
We can pretend to be Caerus' adopted kids! Wait just kidding, that's a bad idea. Can I run bread deliveries if we do that? I can run really fast! Do we wear aprons and silly hats? My baker name is Kai-ser Roll! Kaiser Roll the Bravado! Abrus can be A-bread! When do we get started?

"Right...but it's supposed to be fairly easy - and we do not necessarily have to be the best bakery in time. To the contrary it would be preferable at first if we are just mediocre.
