Yarrow stacks the books, "I was hoping we could read some stories or something." "That sounds great! We'll all climb under the fort and hear stories. I want to hear adventure stories about heroes and fighting monsters!"

"What's the Ghost Forest?" "Have you ever heard of Ghost ships?" "Ones that just appear from nowhere?"

"Have you ever heard of Ghost ships?" "Ones that just appear from nowhere?" "Yeah they appear from nowhere and then disappear. That's like the Ghost Forest. It's a legend up north that there's this forest that appears out of nowhere and has all sorts of strange things people have reported finding in it. Like One night a group will fall asleep in an open field and the next morning they'll wake up in the middle of this misty forest and they'll see all sorts of strange things, like dead loved ones and stuff sometimes. That's the most popular stories at least."

The group tried to sleep in it but when they woke up the forest was gone along with everyone but this one guy."

Lets hear some spooky tales! Also, we'll have to take it slowly so someone can translate for Tellia."

Yarrow sits down cross-legged and cracks open the book. "Our story begins with a young warrior named Kolvik..." he goes on the describe a small band of warriors from the city of Jardin in Northern contienet, and how they were on the trail of some raiders who had raided their city and kidnapped a number of children to be sold as slaves. "On the fifth night out from the city they spotted a few lights on the horizon like campfires. They had been pushing their horses hard since they left and they were on their last leg. This had to be them they told themselves..." he looks around at everyone's expressions for a moment to see how they are reacting.

Her eyes big and bright, her mouth in a smaller version of her usual grin.
