To the northern side of the Courtyard, just beyond the fountain and just before the infirmary and the girl's dormitories lies the Gardens. The entrance is a large archway grown out of tall bushes and a stone pathway leads you around in many different branching directions, closer to the girls dorms the gardens get more elaborate. There are small fountains and, and birdbaths and even a small butterfly garden at one point. Closer towards the Infirmary the gardens become more utilitarian there are rows for some small crops and there are a lot of small herbs growing along the ground. In the middle of it all there is a small hedge maze that has been constructed. Two large statues of hooded and robed figures guard the entrance. One in alabaster the other in a dark marble.
