There is a wooden post to one side of the garden where the teachers administer punishment. A thin wooden cane is often used though there is a lash available nearby. Students gather round in anticipation, and Konstantin is pacing around the post holding the cane in one hand.

Konstantin and brin have a little argument over whether Ary should be tied or not, while they strip off Ary's shirt. Eventually Brin wins as it appears Ary won't resist

Aryteneus drops to a knee with a gasp at a few of the later strikes, muscles on his back quivering before he scowls and forces himself to finish standing. (2 on will) |
