"Oh...like necromancy... I guess that's like anything though. Good or bad. It's like being a doctor - you could do horrible things if you wanted to." "But then you wouldn't be a doctor would you? And a normal person is much more easy to bring justice against if they do something wrong." "I guess. I've heard there's ways to bring justice to mages though."

"Just get some Mages to get them? Or catch them by surprise?" "Due to the small number of mages they like to stick together. But the second one holds some merit, if you are good enough that is."

It would depend on what you intend to do to bring the Mage to justice. You could catch them and take them to jail, you could bring them to ruin, or if they were especially terrible you might decide death is the only option. Each requires a completely different approach."

"Normally I would say that each should be judged according to their actions. But mages have a chance to do more evil in less time than almost any other person, and seem to have a penchant for making orphans. An abuse of power should warrant an immediate execution.

"What makes an abuse of power?" "I didn't have a chance to learn about law or anything like that. But you are abusing your power when you intentionally bring ruin to someone who isn't causing you harm. That doesn't cover every situation and isn't a good definition but it is at least a good start."

Helping out when you're not in here organizing stuff?" She grins.

I just do what I can here to help."

"But I have heard of a group that does just that. They operate out of the empire and their name is only said in whispers, 'Night Blades'."

They only kill who they are paid too but supposedly they are some of the best."
