Theros the creature moves surprisingly quick. You get it in the leg, but it's not a good hit before it lunges and locks its jaws onto your arm and begins whipping its head back and forth shredding your arm to the bone Kai yells and draws the dagger and cuts at the thing's jaw. (is it holding right arm or left? weaponry 3) Whichever is your sword arm. Nanaris downs the vial and charges with an empty vial as a weapon |

As soon as the dagger hits the flesh the entire head goes limp. The body reels and flails its arms wildly about its head now hanging limp and lifeless

Nanaris tackles the thing again this time he just rips his dagger out and jumps away

As soon as the dagger hits the flesh the entire head goes limp. The body reels and flails its arms wildly about its head now hanging limp and lifeless Kai backs off, the sword falls from his shredded arm, the dagger clenched tight as death in his left fist. He breathes heavily, looks around too. |

Virgil slips up close avoiding the flailing limbs and hamstrings it. Weaponry +3 if it can still detect me Scholarship +5 if it can't. |

Kai - you think the creature is dead, but you feel the hairs on the back of your neck prickle up suddenly and think you see the shadows at your feet sweep back behind you. |

You would see Caerus behind Kai, suddenly, although when he got there you are unsure. He looks tired, much as he did at the jailhouse, but over his shoulders he is wearing the Nightblades' shadow cloak TM. |
