Caerus seems to move in a blink of an eye, wrenching the dagger from Kai's hand and moving the boy slightly behind him as he opens the dagger and cuts through the fireball, a half smirk playing on his lips.

You would see Caerus behind Kai, suddenly, although when he got there you are unsure. He looks tired, much as he did at the jailhouse, but over his shoulders he is wearing the Nightblades' shadow cloak TM.Details align! Virgil mutters "I am so stupid. Of course the bastard would be good at using those. But how does he do the face thing..." |

He catches the ring, his feral expression softening slightly as he goes to answer Abrus, only to be distracted by Kai shoving his shoulders into his knees. His leg partially buckles, but he manages to catch himself. He looks at Kai like he's an idiot, grabbing him by the scruff of his shirt and prying him off. "Really, kid?" Kai hears Virgil say stand down. He stops fighting, hanging limp in Caerus' grasp, hopefully he won't hurt his friends again. He glares up at 'Caerus.' |

Rose drops to sit, panting a bit. These types of wounds were new to her. She smiles though at Caerus. She seems happy that he was here with them.
