He listens very intently to Virgil's account of events. |

"I always seem to be impeccably late. What did your mentors tell you of Arcas? How did you precisely get into this mess - the church? Did Tychon approve that?" |

"Kaia told me personally very little, probably because she disliked spreading conjecture. Getting involved with the church is part of why Tychon was so angry. We took the job without consulting him, not that we had a lot of choice. As to how we got involved we can't answer due to being left out of that decision process. Tychon forbade us from killing while we were apprentices so we were never fully involved with the contracts." |
