If no one objects to Kai's plan, he will start a search of the inn, beginning with the rooftop. (He'll make sure to pay attention to Caerus' bedroom window and that squeeky floorboard.) Investigate -1 Notice 4 Hoping Sio and Nan will help in this search? The rooftop is old - made of wood. It has some mildew in certain spots, but nothing that a quick patch up could not fix. Caerus' bedroom looks well made although there is a bit of a smokiness to it. The window is closed, but with that investigation skill you probably think nothing of it. You probably even knock into a few things and disturb some of the stuff you were looking at actually. The squeaky floorboard is squeaky. Obnoxiously so. Squeak. Squeak. Squeeeeeaaaaak. Do you pry it off the floor? It's probably more miraculous someone managed to get pass the little alarm than anything. Man. I'll have Nan and Sio take a look at the window too, because I rolled so bad, but I suspect alternate egress. Does the board look tampered with at all? I do try to pry the board up high enough to look under. So just an inch or so. |

I do try to pry the board up high enough to look under. So just an inch or so. You would have to dig your knife in pretty deep - it doesn't seem that lose, but you are welcome to destroy property. In the effect that the next bunch roll adequately they will find that the window does open fairly easily. It also looks dusted off unlike some of the other things in the room (such as the side chest next to the bed). |
