[ The captain listens intently and nods, seeming to believe the lie. "Then let me be upfront with you. I don't much care how you get rid of the troops. I need them gone before they muck around with my cargo. Goldport is a hell of ways away from the Empire. We will have to stop in Talisport and maybe some other places as we make our way along the southern tip of the continent. Get rid of the imperials...and we can settle the price once out to sea. Perhaps you can all make a delivery for me..? Regardless we can discuss that later. Times wasting." The old man relaxes visibly, letting out a short sigh. "Honor among thieves, eh? Alright. We're waiting for one last person - not long, I assure you. I give him five more minutes. Our first priority is the mage. Dangerous, but we can handle him. Get the rigging and empty casks, we'll be hiding and waiting for a signal from you. Keep the mage up here once we're hidden. When our man arrives or when five minutes are up, you put your hand to your forehead, fetch? We'll take care of him, and then the rest in short order. After that, we are out of this port faster than a whore on a Causian goat farm, got it? Best have the men start making preparations."Returning from getting Tychon situated and irritating him more Kaia sighs "you want help with the Mage or should I handle the others?"

Balaban stands casually still nearish the door, twirling the scissors on a finger. He watches Kaia and Orthos. "Think we could buy off the soldiers as well?"

Deceive +4Two of the guards do not seem to be buying the act, and one of them actually places a hand on their sword hilt, eyes narrowing towards the drunkard suspiciously. The third seems oblivious. GM can report on captain.

One guard appears to say, "heh, he's almost as bad as you are drunk!" "Alright who said that?" the captain looks around "Not me, sir!" Says one guard. The other glances at his friend and then back to the captain and nods his head towards his friend subtly.

One guard appears to say, "heh, he's almost as bad as you are drunk!" "Alright who said that?" the captain looks around "I did. And you're quite the loser when you're drunk. Pissing all over and stumbling about. Without me around to shut you up, you'd likely spill military secrets all the time." The guard appears to say.

Fess up or I must punish the lot of you." He looks ready to throw someone overboard.

"Not me cap'n!" One man full salutes, looking worried as all get out.
"I never told anyone what happened at your daughter's wedding, sir." Says another with a gulp.

"Now I told you not one word about that!" "Eep! Sorry captain! I didn't mean it! It's just with everything being so dark and odd and and...I'm just a blabber mouth when spooked!" He flails and tries to hold onto the bar. The other two guards glance at each other with worry and straighten out.
