Well to the three who rush off, you first notice a dagger driven into the tree. There's a bloody mass hanging from it and a note. The pattern would seem too obvious to you Virgil. There are obvious stirrings of the dirt and the blood is well dried (probably done hours ago). You would take note that there is a trail leading down towards the lake, and you find a torn piece of cloth that has some blood drops. (Assuming the correlation between handprints and glass flies over Virgil's head despite him looking for such a pattern ) |

It looks like a tongue to you, Rose. The note, in equally fine penmanship: Abrus seemed to think this a game. All talk. I am not. You have yet to look at the big picture. Why leave notes? Does it look human or animal like? Scholarship: 3 "I tink we are be'n played. Distracted wit notes...." You're 100% sure it is tongue. It looks fairly human like, but you're not entirely sure. It's cut off before it goes into the trachea and more identifying things. Definitely not a cow or goat or cat tongue. |
