"This way.." Virgil slips around the shop to a side door and fishes a key out of his pockets. "I hope they didn't change the locks." She eyes him. "Ah. So ya lived here before?" "Yes I did... Ah good it seems the assholes didn't do any work at all on the place. Come in!" The door does not actually lead inside the building but into a sizable courtyard. Most of the yard is dominated by a greenhouse looking completely overgrown with plant life. The shopfront is off to one side and a house is on the other side. Virgil heads for the house. |

The shopfront is off to one side and a house is on the other side. Virgil heads for the house. Rose's eyes sparkle at the greenhouse and the size of the courtyard. She seems to purr a bit like a pleased cat. She follows Virgil. |

"Family, this was my mother and fathers shop and house before a series of unfortunate events occurred." Going in the front door leads to a nice little entryway. Straight ahead is a stairway to the second floor and there is a doorway off to the right. "I want to take a look for some things upstairs. Have a wander around down here and tell me what you think." |

Kai and Abrus should make a perception check. 2 You do get closer to the cliffs. There's a few long lines at different elevator spots. Some are hand operated and appear to attract poorer civilians while mages rotate operating some of the more expensive ones. You pick up on a young kid pickpocketing some people while waiting in line, Abrus. There's a gaggle of young middle class girls chatting in line as well and a somber looking gentleman looking out over the cliff (he does not seem to be particularly inclined to any of the lines). Kai notices some thugs beating a man in one of the alleys before the buildings thin out to the elevators. No one seems to care. |

Investigate 2 Notice 4 Looking to see if it's a fresh break. Like see if any spiderwebs have taken over the hole or not. That sort of thing. |

On the ground floor there is a first a sitting/dining room and then a kitchen. Anything not terribly heavy or large and of any value seems to be missing |
